Play Project:Gorgon

Project:Gorgon is our indie MMO that’s currently in pre-alpha state. It’s still a long way from being done, but it’s already pretty entertaining, and we could really use your feedback about it!

Grab the game client here or play it in your browser (via the Unity plugin) here.

  1. Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you know that one of our writers is really into playing your alpha and was dying to write up a piece on you. Here’s the link:

It’ll be live next Tuesday the 10th (I’m pre-scheduling all of next week’s articles due to my vacation.) Enjoy, and keep up the good work. Shoot me an email when you get your Kickstarter up again and I’ll make sure it gets a mention.

    Editor in Chief,

I saw you are rolling out a Linux client and looking for beta testers. I would love to be one of them and can test for you on 2 systems with different specs. Also we have been talking about it over at LinuxGameCast with Pedro and Venn.

Just want to say I’m having a blast discovering everything in game… keep up the good work! Will be spreading the word.

how do you make an account?

  6. Eric says:

To make an account, once you’re in-game as a guest, press the exclamation mark icon on the top right of the screen. (After you create an account, that box becomes the Feedback/bug reporting tool.)

All I get when I try to run the game is the launcher trying to redownload the client. If I let it download where it wants to then I get “Checksum invalid for http://eom/v200;auncerhpayloads/Windows Player Windows Player.exe 004″ It is something very close to this. The font is small and red ona gray background. I also then get the message: Couldn’t parse JSON! Expected field name not None (position 49640) >>> ssedChecks. I have no idea what is going wrong but have zero chance to play the game this way. I have my environmental variables set for my F: drive not my C: drive. I can only imagine that Project: Gorgon is designed to affect certain areas of my computer and is not able to be changed.

  9. Timothy says:

It might be http// Player Windows Player.exe 0000.dat The three letters before projectgorgon are basically unreadable.

  10. Timothy says:

The browser play link also fails to work. Really interested in the game but for me it is entirely broken.

Looks promising but controls are so clunky i got sea sick…
Couldnt jump over fence for few minutes, very frustrating.
    Will pass for now.
